The refurbishment of the Eastgate Hotel has seen the addition of The High Table restaurant to the facilities at the hotel. The High Table provides fine dining in stylish surroundings, and is named for one of the dining traditions of the Oxford colleges. The restaurant provides a complete breakfast menu of both continental and cooked options, and a broad lunch and dinner menu using locally sourced produce wherever possible. The cuisine brings together the best of British and Mediterranean cuisine, including grill options. Lunch and evening dining is also supported by Mercure’s trademark Grand Vins selection.
The dinner menu is offered between 6pm and 11pm Monday to Friday, 12pm and 10pm Saturdays, and 12pm and 9pm on Sundays.
The High Table restaurant also provides a private dining area for business lunches or personal celebrations.
